Reliable Power Group is a buying group initiated by independent distributors to implement a purchasing strategy to take advantage of the nationwide network of distributors to lower the cost of indirect products, parts and services used by each operation.
Why was it formed?
Consolidated buying power matters and can have a positive financial impact on ALL the products needed to run our operations.
Reliable Power Group was formed to consolidate distributor efforts to find the best deals on products and services that we use in our businesses. By organizing as a collective, we increase our buying power in comparison to individual leverage. Thus, our group buying power allows us to leverage depth and consistency with desired vendors to lower cost through a B2B model.
Why should a distributor join?
Members of the Reliable Power Group benefit from lower costs of necessary goods and can provide input in vendor selection and the breath of products available.
As more distributors join RPG, the buying power increases for the entire group. Notably, this is an opportunity for smaller distributors to receive greater buying power than that of a very large distributor since this is viewed as the sum rather than the individual parts. Participation from every distributor makes the entire group stronger.
Our goal is to assist all distributorships in lowering their variable cost while maintaining quality and taking the added burden of shopping around out of the equation.
